OUR FOUNDER
From Vision to Voice: Our Founding Story

Founded in May 2024 by Allison Johnson Fouché, Women in Government Communications (WGC) was created to meet a long-standing need to uplift and connect the women shaping the public narrative from inside government.

With a deep understanding of the complexities of public service communication, Allison envisioned a professional home for women committed to leading with clarity, credibility, and courage. WGC is not just a network — it’s a movement for lasting impact. WGC fosters a community where women communicators can thrive, lead, and inspire.
